What is Biofeedback?

Biofeedback is a treatment technique that presents the user with real-time feedback on brain activity, energy levels, hydration levels, oxygen utilization and other vital functions.  It is a technique in which people are trained to improve their health by using signals from their own bodies.

Biofeedback uses monitoring devices, which furnish information about autonomic body functions, such as the heart rate and blood pressure, so you can gain voluntary control.  It will tell you what your body wants and what it needs.  Those needs may be nutritional, mental or emotional. Biofeedback may be used clinically to treat conditions such as hypertension and migraine headaches.
